This is another love story, and one with an ending still to be written.
The story so far. Boy meets Girl. Girl is shiny. Boy is shy and lost. Boy and Girl spend quality time together and connect. Soul mates? Is it love? Is it lust? Is it a possibility for all time? Why didn’t we meet 12 months ago? Why cant we meet again in 12 months? Girl returns to her real life, forsakes Boy for the love of her family. Boy returns to his real life and with new strength changes his life dramatically. Out with the old, in with the new. Learning, loving and growth are the name of the game. He is empowered to find true love, true happiness, and his destiny.
Eighteen months later, Boy is still desperately in love with Girl and lost without her. Girl is faithful to her family and situation. Communications are restricted and somewhat one way. Boy will wait forever. Will Girl ever consider the reason she thought Boy as soul mate? Will she ever return his advances again?
The poems that follow are copyright. With a little luck, they will be put to music at some point. They are indexed with a date written, and the meaning is only know to the author.
This blog is for the Girl to know she is loved, unconditionally, forever, and she always has a friend if she needs one. The Boy is silently waiting for the universe to deliver the strength for something to change, either for love to be returned and for them to live happily together forever, or for love to be a wish, a future chance, a wonder of what could be until we are lost to this world. Romantics, as we are, imagine the best of outcomes with the best love story ever written becoming reality.
